Live. Well. Tip. Winter 2012
This tip might add more pleasure to your life than you could ever imagine: Don't Do It Yourself. Let's face it, all of us are good at some things (maybe even many things), but no one is good at everything. This article from organizing guru Julie Morgenstern beautifully illustrates the advantages of delegating those tasks that are outside of our own area of expertise. Food for thought as we start of another wonderful year. Here's to a joyful and pleasure-filled 2012!

How I can help:
Lifestyle Management: This service is helps you create a life with more ease and comfort by helping you get projects off your plate so you have more time for things you enjoy. These are just a few ways I can help: keeping track of important deadlines, researching and contacting vendors to get estimates, filling out forms and paperwork, bookkeeping, household project management, event planning and coordinating, and travel research and planning. The bottom line: If it’s on your To-Do List, I can take care of it for you.
Personal Assistance: When you need to get business projects completed, but you don't have a full-time executive assistant or marketing specialist on staff, my executive assistant services can bridge the gap. I am an expert in all MS Office programs, and, often, I am asked to handle tasks such as producing PowerPoint presentations, creating and maintaining contact lists and databases, creating mail merges, and web site creation and maintenance. Note: Many administrative tasks can be completed, remotely ("virtually"), from my home office.

Handful of Salt Blog
This amazing blog, where design meets craft, revolves around the philosophy that people still want great design and beauty, but crave something more authentic. They wanted to be surrounded by things that have meaning: but not mass-made, something that’s more real, something more reflective of who we really are. Handful of Salt calls these things DesignCraft.
One of the deepest forms of connection is knowing how a product is made, and who made it. So in addition to exploring ways to surround ourselves with design with meaning, and what’s going on in the wide world of design and craft, HoS explores the community of people (DesignCrafters) who design and make things for our homes and selves. These are the people who go out there every day, trying to make a living out of the work they love, trying to find that perfect balance between inspiration and commerce, and trying to bring just a little more beauty and meaning into the world. HoS blog salutes these people, and I salute Handful of Salt.
